Sorry, if this is the wrong place for this question. It is a "mySQL" question. I asked it, at the mySQL forum, but received no reply. So, I'm theorizing that somebody, here, would likely know what is best. I've switched my P4 3mhz xp over to Fedora 9 and, now, I am looking for the proper version of mySQL to run on this machine. The mySQL, I suspect will do the job, is: "Linux x86 generic RPM (dynamically linked) downloads"(http://dev.mysql.com/downloads/mysql/5.0.html#linux-x86-32bit-rpms), but I could be wrong. The purpose of this mySQL would be for helping me construct a database which remote IPs could access. Any thoughts/advice on this?
